How Jupiter killed dinosaurs!?

After reading the title, your might think, “What!! Dinosaurs were killed by an asteroid, flooding of water, global warming, melting of glaciers etc;” Well, that’s partly true, but what started this chain of reactions. What made the furious asteroid come towards Earth?
